About the Course:
The Scaffold Inspection and Tag System Training is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to inspect scaffolding structures, identify potential hazards, and effectively use the scaffold tagging system to ensure workplace safety. This course focuses on understanding scaffold components, recognizing structural defects, and maintaining compliance with international safety standards such as OSHA, ISO, Saudi Aramco GI 8.001 and local regulations.
Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
Understand the types and components of scaffolding systems.
Conduct pre-use, periodic, and post-event inspections of scaffolds.
Identify common hazards, defects, and unsafe conditions.
Apply the scaffold tagging system (Green, Yellow, Red) correctly.
Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Promote a safe work-at-height environment through proactive inspection practices.
